Isaac I think it was, was very good and allowed for my little one to have a good practice before hiring for the next day. He had a great attitude and knew his stuff about bikes and good customer service skills. He was also very polite and efficient.
I hired an e bike which was great & another fitting for my child. We enjoyed hiring the bikes and helmets. The helmets were very comfortable.
Hired a Giant bike for the day to do the Granite way. Very friendly and helpful people. Loved the bike and the ride! Thank you!

Bikes were okay. We reserved bikes and it took 10 minutes to get all setup after we arrived and one gear came loose during our ride.
But overall great.

We left in the rain on our cycle Lands End to the Orkneys.Fortunstely we bought 2 pieces of the best flapjack which sustained us for miles of hills, heavy rain and lack of opportunities to buy food Thanks delicious !

Absolutely amazing service!
Angus and Alex were so helpful, friendly and patient with us.
The bikes looked like new, we had no issues with them and we hired 6 plus a trailer for a child and for a dog.
We had a wonderful time despite the rain and enjoyed coffee and snacks in the cafe next door after.
I would highly recommend these guys, professional and really friendly. We were visitors for a few days and I hope to return in the future, thank you x

I called in to the shop this morning and asked if they could adjust the gears on my bike. Amy got straight on with the work and did a fabulous job, service with a smile! Thank you so much 😊

Great place, very helpful, rented 2 bikes to ride down the granite way to Lydford and back and had a fantastic day. The bikes were great, easy to use and no issues with either bike (only the saddle was not padded so my backside now feels rather bruised but otherwise it was all worth it.) The people that work there also let us try a few bikes and saddle heights to check for the right size for us and taught us how to use the gears etc, for 2 people that haven't been on bikes for 15 years or more the help made it easy to quickly pick it up again! Thank you!

When we arrived at the hire shop, it was open but there was nobody around. A note on the door said to ring a mobile number, which when we called, it rang unhelpfully on the counter in front of us. Eventually a member of staff reappeared, by which point the previous customers had returned with a problem with their bike. They were told the brake problem was because the bike was brand new and the brake hose was stiff; In all the years of maintaining our own bikes, I've never heard of this.
After paying for our bike hire, we were asked what sort of bikes we wanted and their sizes. We asked for mountain bikes, to which my wife was told that a step through ladies bike would suit her better, she suggested she’d be happier with a mountain bike, but was told quite clearly that she would be better on a step through ladies bike. An old tatty mountain bike was pulled out for me, clearly all of the 20+ brand new bikes in their stores were too good for me.
My wife’s bike was fine, although she was unsure exactly why she was not allowed a mountain bike. The bike I was given was in a terrible condition, the gears didn’t work, the brakes squealed and were ineffective, the seat post drifted downward as we went and the suspension fork juddered and knocked under braking. We completed our ride and returned the bikes, we were asked whether the bikes were okay and explained about the issues with my bike, only to be told that they were old bikes and did have a number of problems despite being serviced every day. It was quite obvious the bike lacked any form of servicing and had not been test ridden for quite some time.
We are still bemused as to why the customers before us were given brand new mountain bikes, whereas my wife was only allowed to ride a step through bike and I was only allowed an old shoddy bike. We wish we’d refused the bikes that were pushed onto us and asked for their decent ones, if you decide to use this business we’d advise you do the same.

Hired a couple of bikes earlier in the week and what a fantastic day we had exploring the Granite Way.
Bikes were great and the staff amazing; thanks Amy and Angus.
All day hire allowed us to visit Lydford, Meldon Reservoir and Pump and Pedal in nearby Sourton; great cider and fantastic Devon Pasties (Chunk of Devon).
Will definitely return when next in Okehampton.... Thanks to all.

The staff here are fab - we hired a bike with a tag along. The staff member who we hired from suggested giving the tag along a try around the car park because they are a bit wobbly and said he would give us a chariot type thing if we couldn't get used to it. We managed just fine though. He was patient and kind with my little girl who was quite anxious about cycling. The bike we had was brilliant - seemed brand new and all the bikes were well known brands, all looked new, all well maintained. We had a lovely trip down the Granite Way, had some lunch and headed back. Thank you for great service.
