Wonderful team at Albery & Redstone. After a family member from Okehampton died I contacted the team from Australia - worried that I would not be able to do anything until in the area. When my 99 year old mother-in-law passed away at our home at the end of November my wife needed to appoint an undertaker very quickly. Albery & Redstone was recommended to us and we have to say that right from the initial phone conversation with David throughout the entire process we never ceased to be impressed with the service. The initial meeting with David was similarly impressive, but his patience and attention to detail was very reassuring. My wife had looked after her mother for almost 9 years, but it was very comforting when transferring care to that of Albery & Redstone. All the arrangements including Orders of Service and flowers worked out perfectly with a church service locally and then onwards to the Exeter Crematorium. David and Fiona were very professional and respectful, but also very easy to deal with and we have no hesitation in recommending Albery & Redstone Independent Funeral Directors.

David arranged and led funerals for both of my parents. My dad passed away first and David was wonderful with supporting my mother and all our family members. Nothing was too much trouble. I lost my partner to pancreatic cancer in November 2020 and even though we had decided what type of funeral he was to have it was still a very painful time. Paul died at home so it was a terribly emotional time when his body was collected. David however with his years of experience, professionalism and dedication to his job made the process easier to endure. I knew that once Paul was in David's care he was treated with the upmost respect and dignity, it was no trouble to him when I asked for little things to go into the coffin and be dressed. I cannot recommend David and his team enough, at such a difficult and emotional time they ooze warmth and an extremely high standard of care for you and your loved one.

At such a sad time Kay and David at Albery and Redstone Funeral Directors are compassionate, contactable, caring and very quick to respond to questions and wishes. They listen and take time to get every detail as requested. From the initial meeting with David through to the final commital one feels that loved ones are truly cared for. This is so comforting and reassuring. Kay is always available on the 'phone or in the office to answer queries or give help and advice and David provides a reassuring and reliable presence on the funeral day. All proceedings are conducted with dignity and respect. Nothing seems too much trouble for Kay and David, and one feels they feel privileged to carry out their work and our thanks go out to them for all they do.

My family and I have employed the services of David and his team on two occasions now, firstly upon the death of my mother last year, and, more recently, following the passing of my husband.
